Municipal recreation software: staff, certifications and facilities in one place
For a municipality’s recreation, culture and sports department: pools, arenas, parks, community centres, day camps. Each department sees its teams, schedules and checks, and management sees the whole picture.
Remanso brings together schedules, the certification register, inspection logs and the budget by line: one tool for all your facilities, with the same rules. The pool has its own page: lifeguard scheduling and certification tracking.
All your facilities, one way of working.
Each facility’s shifts
Each facility’s shifts and their replacements. Someone without the required certification, or already scheduled elsewhere, cannot, by default, be assigned.
Every employee’s certifications
Each person has a file, their documents and their expiry dates, with an email before each expiry. No more certification spreadsheet to keep up by hand: expiry dates calculate themselves.
Checks and logs
Daily checks, pool water readings judged against your province’s standards, incident and inspection forms you design yourselves, repair reports. Entered once, then searchable and exportable.
The budget and the council’s figures
The budget by line: what’s voted, what the schedule already commits, and what’s left. A figure for council sits in the same place as everything else, not spread across six files.
A recreation department’s week, without the double entry.
These tasks come back every season, in every department. They are the ones Remanso takes over.
Retyping the same schedule into a second system.
Recounting everyone’s hours before payroll.
Untangling conflicts over rooms, courts and halls.
Knowing who has done the mandatory training, and who hasn’t.
Producing the annual report out of six files.
Answering an accountability request under deadline.
What a municipality tracks, and for how long.
A municipality touches aquatics, arenas, parks and drinking water in the same week. Here are some of its certifications, with their term and its source: a regulation, or the body that issues the card.

24 monthsPublished by the issuer. Quebec’s Code de sécurité (Chapter IX, s. 438) requires a valid certificate without setting its term: the Lifesaving Society sets it at two years.

60 monthsSet by regulation. Since January 1, 2025, renewal requires accredited training taken in the previous five years, at least 10 credits: renewal can be refused if the credits are missing.

60 monthsSet by regulation. The ministry issues ten distinct certificates, plus three experience attestations: each one is a qualification of its own.
Source: Quebec’s ministère de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité socialeSource: Remanso’s reference of Quebec qualifications, compiled on September 15, 2026, which holds 164 qualifications across 17 sectors. It is not exhaustive: what your municipality requires may be missing from it. Always check your provider’s card before relying on a term.
What people ask us most.
Is Remanso right for a small municipality?
Yes. The price follows the number of people you track, not the type of organization or the number of modules or sites. It is a per-person rate with no step, up to 600 tracked people; a large city is quoted individually. Up to ten people tracked, it is free. Every price is published on the pricing page.
What is a “tracked person”?
Anyone whose file you keep: an employee, a volunteer, a contractor. You do not pay for the people you serve — swimmers, skaters and registrants are not counted.
Where is the municipality’s data hosted?
Hosting in Quebec is included in the price, and your data can be exported at any time in an open format. The privacy policy says what is collected and where it is kept.
How does the trial work?
It lasts 21 days, with no credit card and no automatic renewal. We do the setup: you hand us your spreadsheets as they are, and every module is included. You decide at the end, and if you stop, you leave with everything we set up.
Twenty-one days, no credit card.
We take your spreadsheets as they are and set the platform up with you: your facilities, your positions, your certifications. The trial never turns into a subscription automatically, and you decide at the end.
